• Unable to change visa type due to the remaining period of stay is only 10 days. The Immigration officials will not accept to change.
• Advice to hurry to apply for a visa extension and extend stay. After the extension of the 30-day extension of your stay, you should proceed to apply for a visa change soon.
• If not applying for the visa extension in time, you must travel out of the country and then apply for a work visa or a tourist visa only from the Thai embassy or the Thai consulate in the country.
• Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the government temporarily closed the country that makes it impossible to leave the country. You have to wait to announce when the country will open again. Therefore you can travel outside the country to apply for a work visa or tourist visa.

However, the government has announced the extension of time for foreigners. (Temporary residents) can stay in Thailand until 31/07/63 without having to renew the visa and no need to report 90 days, no fee, and do not need to submit any documents which the Immigration Bureau will process for you automatically.
