Did you know foreigners can travel to Thailand without a visa?
Nowadays, many foreigners are traveling to Thailand. Foreigners who wish to enter Thailand are required to obtain a visa from the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General but some countries are exempt from visas for entering Thailand. Let's take a look at what countries are visa-exempt.
Those traveling to Thailand for temporary tourism are exempt from visa can stay in Thailand for no more than 30 days per time, 2 times a year, and must carry money at least 10,000 baht/person or 20,000 baht/family.

***If tourists want to stay in Thailand for more than 30 days, they are required to obtain a visa from the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General before entering Thailand. They will be granted permission to stay for up to 60 days and can also submit a request to stay from the Immigration Office as well. Besides, foreigners who have nationality Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia entering the land border immigration checkpoint can enter more than 2 times/year and can stay in Thailand for no more than 30 days at a time.
***Thailand has exempted the visa to holders of diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports for Brazil, Korea, and Peru who can stay in Thailand for not more than 90 days.
***The non-nationals of the aforementioned 56 countries or stateless persons holding travel documents for aliens visa will not be exempted and must obtain a visa from the Royal Thai Embassy / Consulate in a foreign country before traveling to Thailand.
