Thai Bank Account Setup Service for Foreigners

Opening Thai bank account for foreigners is not complicated but depending on their type of visa, the required documents vary. Based on different type of visa, the conditions are as follows:

1. For foreigners residing in Thailand on tourist visa, can open a Thai bank account, for the purpose of life or health insurance purchase only.
2. For foreigners residing in Thailand on long-term visas like Non-B, Non-O, Non-ED, they can open a regular Thai bank account without needing to purchase insurance.

• 18,500 bhat for Hong Kong Residents & Singaporeans
• 23,000 bhat for Malaysians & Taiwanese
• 20,000 bhat for Europeans (residents from USA, UK, Canadian)
• 18,000 bhat for Burmese

Processing Steps: 

• Initial consultation and document review.
• Appointment for setting up Thai bank account from desired bank
• Once the process is completed, immediately provide the bank passbook to the customer.

Tourist Visa Group 

• Original passport with copies of every page.
• Thai Address and Phone number

Long-term visa Group

• Original passport with copies of every page.
• Work permit with copies of every page (if on Non-B visa)
• Thai Address and Phone number
• Employer's introduction letter for bank account opening (if applicable) (if on Non-B visa)
