Tips for Maintaining Visa Rights for Re-Entry into Thailand

When applying for a Thailand Re-Entry Permit, consider the following:

1. Visa Validity: If the remaining validity of your current visa in Thailand is short, opt for a Single Re-Entry Permit. If you have a long-term visa, apply for a Multiple Re-Entry Permit.
2. Travel Frequency: If you need to travel abroad frequently, it is advisable to apply for a Multiple Re-Entry Permit. If you travel infrequently, a Single Re-Entry Permit will be sufficient. This helps to prevent any issues in maintaining your current visa before leaving Thailand.
3. Initial Visa (Single Entry up to 90 Days): Foreigners with a visa allowing entry to Thailand for up to 90 days on a Single-Entry basis can also apply for a Re-Entry Permit if they need to travel out of and back into Thailand. Ensure you return to Thailand before the visa expires.
