For work permit application on behalf of a foreigner (in cases where the foreigner has not yet entered Thailand), foreigners who wants to work in Thailand must obtain a work visa (Non-B visa) and their employer or company submit a request for a work permit on their behalf using "Form WP 32," which will then be submitted to the Thai embassy in their home country for consideration and issuance of the work visa (Non-B). Once the foreigner receives this work visa, they can travel to Thailand on Non-B visa which is valid for 90 days and once arrived, require to submit additional documents to apply for a work permit within 30 days from the issuance date of WP 32 without requiring any additional company documents. If the foreigner does not apply for the work permit within 30 days, they will need to cancel the documents and apply for a new work permit using WP 25.
All procedures must comply with the guidelines and conditions set by the Ministry of Labor and the Immigration Bureau.
Processing Steps:
- Book and pay for the service through the website.
- Send the documents to our staff via email or postal mail.
- The officer receives the original documents and submits them at the local employment office where the office is located.
- Wait for consideration/ approval within 3-7 business days.
- The officer will approve WP 32 and return it to the applicant (the document is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance).
- Submit Form WP 32 and other company documents to the Thai embassy in the applicant's current country of residence.
- Once the visa is granted (valid for 90 days), the applicant should travel to Thailand.
- Upon arrival in Thailand, the applicant must obtain a medical certificate to proceed with applying for a work permit.
- Wait consideration/approval within 3-7 business days.
- Collect the documents from the local employment office or the office where the company is located.
Service Fee
For applying for a work permit on behalf of a foreign national (if the foreign national has not yet entered the Kingdom):
- Form WP 32 only: 10,000 THB
- Form WP 32 and Work Permit: 22,000 THB.
Required Documents
Documents Required for Applying for a Work Permit on Behalf of a Foreign National (If the Foreign National Has Not Yet Entered Thailand) - Form WP 32
Part 1: Before Entering Thailand
Form WP 32: Complete the form in full.
For the Foreign National (Employee):
- Copy of the passport
- Four recent passport-sized photographs (3 x 4 cm or 1.5 inches), with a white background and dressed formally.
- Copy of educational qualifications.
- Resume
For the Company and Employer:
- Certificate of company registration or legal entity (not more than 6 months).
- Copy of shareholder list (form B.O.J.5) (not more than 6 months).
- Certificate of legal entity registration (form P.K.0401)
- Tax registration certificate (form P.P.20), and P.P.01
- P.P.09 (in case of changes) and copies of other permits
- Balance sheet and profit/loss statement for the latest fiscal year from the DBD, with certified document fee receipt
- Copy of corporate income tax return (Form Phor.Ngor.Dor.50) (if submitting a copy, it must be signed and stamped by the director on every page).
- Power of Attorney for company representation, along with a copy of the director's ID card.
- Personal income tax list (P.N.D.1) for Thai and foreign employees for the last 3 months, with certified receipt from the Revenue
- Department, and certified document fee receipt
- Copy of social security contribution records (Forms SSO.1-10) for the past 3 months, including receipts.
- Copy of VAT return (Form PP.30 or Form PP.36) for the most recent financial statement (for the past 3 months), including receipts.
- Company Map
- Photos of the company, showing the building, company sign, working conditions with employees, office desks, or warehouse, including 6-7 images showing the nature of the work. Additionally, include 2-4 photos of the directors, foreign nationals, and authorized representatives together in front of a sign showing the company's name and address clearly.
*All copies of documents must be signed and certified by the company's director.
Part 2: Upon Arrival in Thailand
- Original passport.
- Copy of the passport (photocopies of personal information page, visa page, entry stamp, any extension of stay stamp (if applicable), and the most recent entry stamp).
- Power of Attorney
- Medical certificate (original, with biological test results).
